Santos Moomba

R&V Engineering designed and supplied two new HRSG’s with R&V supplementary firing burners.

As part of the modernization of the Santos Moomba gas/oil processing plant two new HRSG’s with R&V supplementary firing burners are installed to provide the required steam and power at the highest efficiency. The new burner system will be operated with natural gas in both turbine exhaust gas mode and fresh air mode. The system is designed to meet the latest required emission levels.

Our activities

R&V Engineering designed and supplied the burners and burner ducts. The engineering for the fuel systems and BMS panels was also provided by R&V Engineering.
